Macon County sergeant killed in head-on crash

A Macon County sergeant was killed in an early morning crash. Chief Deputy Kyle Petty told us that Sergeant William Cherry was hit head-on.

Actually knew this guy. He was on our PD when I was boss of the FD. Good guy, tragic accident.
