It's me again.
I hope you guys don't mind if drill you with questions everyday. ;D

What kind of unit is the Marine Incident Response Team?
Is this a fairly new Unit?
Their trucks look pretty new and a little bit like TAC 1&2
What do they carry?
On which calls do they get assigned?
Who staffs this unit?
From where do they respond?

I ask this because I'm always trying to keep track of what units the FDNY has and what they do and this one has just recently come to my attention.

I think it is kept at Marine 6's quarters with the Marine Batt.
