Yeah, just a minor fire . . . but getting to post ANYTHING from Meadowmere Park is an event (seems nothing ever happens there), and it's from Grogan, to boot!

I don't know, Kevin; but with only one way into Meadowmere Park, and 5 streets (4 of which are cross streets of the loop that makes up East & West Avenues), a total of just 95 or so structures (one being the fire house), and no EMS component that I know of, it's not many comparatively speaking.

Don't forget "The Bay House" .....a fellow who was one of my FFs in 275 had grown up in the 2nd fl apt of the bldg as his Family owned the business....when certain flight paths are used the Planes are zooming just over the bldg....workers from JFK come there by boat for lunch as well as many travelers from all over who are on layovers from JFK...... https://www.google.com/search?q=THE...ome..69i57.17709j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
