Looks like they bent their E-One quint.  Ouch.

I'll bet there is an officer and driver on the carpet right now.

I've seen that happen here locally (Newark DE) -- I was out directing traffic at an accident when a tractor-trailer went by me into a low railroad bridge.

Look at all of the pretty lights!  Why is that fire cop waving at me?  Thud.  It opened the top of the 53-ft trailer about 2/3 of the way -- like a sardine can.

Dummy.  The state trooper at the scene was NOT happy.

WCVB-TV:

A ladder truck from the Medway Fire Department had an embarrassing moment caught on camera at the notorious Westwood railroad overpass.

The truck was headed back to Medway after undergoing repairs when it hit the bridge at 3:29 p.m. on Wednesday, the Westwood Police Department said.

Consider
- Why was the truck in Westwood?  That is 12 miles and four towns away from Medway.
- Who was driving?  Only one person gets out of the truck.  Could it be someone from the repair facility?
- Why did it happen?  Lack of familiarity with the truck, the town, or the route?
