Crews were called to the Raleigh-Durham International Airport for an electric vehicle fire Tuesday morning. Info and photo from Legeros Fire Line on Facebook
Here are a few pics from this morning's electric vehicle fire at RDU, found around. Dispatched around 4:51 a.m. for RDU CFR plus mutual aid units from Raleigh, Cary, Morrisville. Burning vehicle found in travel lane on John Brantley Boulevard, at the entrance to the parking deck. Initial mutual aid dispatch for RFD E24 and MFD L22 and CFD L1.
Special call for Raleigh haz-mat resources. Roadway initially shut down, with two lanes opened by 5:10 a.m. Cary and Morrisville units released at 5:43 a.m. Control time 6:26 a.m. Units on scene included CFR 1, CFR 12; RFD E24, B3, HM29; CFD L1, B2; MFD L22.
