Batt 15 responded 2x for an odor of smoke in the Area. 63/39 would be second due or First Due as they have responded in the past and arrived First.

Other than a street sign or hydrant, its hard to tell where the Bronx ends and Mt. Vernon begins. It many places its the middle of a residential block. There have been numerous incidents of FDNY being dispatched and arriving first at a fire just over the boarder. And "smoke in the area" calls are normal when there is a job in Mt. Vernon.
