I would like to see Dominic Derubbio, new head of the NYC Fire Musuem considered. He's got a family history on the job, has disaster management training and while he might be a bit young, I think he could bring a mix of old and new that would benefit the dept. overall. That would be my "out of left field" pick.

Other than that, Joe Pfeifer, Chief Joe Downey, Chief Esposito, Chief Woods have all got to be considered high up on the list.
