On the evening of Sunday, June 26th, 2022, the North Amityville Fire Company along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a working fire on Bayview Avenue off Ronek Drive. The fire was located on the number two side of a two-story private dwelling. Firefighters put two hand lines into operation and had the main body of fire quickly knocked down. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and the cause of the fire is under investigation. North Amityville Chief of Department Thomas Nelson [1-7-30] had command of the incident.
