THANK YOU "EMSR2" for providing us with this news story, as well as these photos.
Very tragic event whenever a family losses their child in a fire.
Plus they also lost all of their personnel belongings.

How does somebody deal with all of that ?

We can only offer our prayers and pray that the family can somehow make it through this.

Of course being retired from that department, I know most of the guys who were there, including the Chief who I had as a probie and he caught a good job his first night.

I live a short distance away from this scene.

Well said Willy. We both know that the men and woman of local 892 went above and beyond as they always do. My thoughts are with the family.
