Lt Jay Walsh, aka "hosewagon", now a Retired FDNY Lt.
Paul Walsh a Retired New Britain, Ct., Deputy Chief.
Their father, John Walsh a Retired Hartford, Ct Captain, after that he became the Chief of the Willimantic, Ct Fire Department, now retired from it all.

I believe he's referring to when the blue letters started showing up on the front of the rescues.

I think Pete also did the painting of Hegar the Horrible in the nightgown lighting the way with the candle on the side of the 7th Division rig when Vince Dunn was a Deputy Chief there. No?
