^^^ In my years never trained with the USCG or NYPD on water incidents.......knew some NYPD Divers from being on the same jobs....never had much interaction with the USCG in NY.....most USCG interaction with FDNY would generally be with the Marine DV Units.

Cool, although I'm sure that any vessel in distress call brings the USCG into the mix. Not sure if any of you have seen this type of Coast Guard helicopter https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurocopter_MH-65_Dolphin#/media/File:MH65E_Hover.jpg or this kind https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sikorsky_MH-60_Jayhawk#/media/File:HH-60J_Air_Station_Astoria.jpg? I wouldn't be surprised if all of the New York Fire Alarm offices have the USCG on speed dial?

USCG is definitely in the mix in the NY area
& FDNY has their frequency.
