Off-duty CFD paramedic injured in high-rise incident

Yesterday an off-duty CFD paramedic was injured when falling ice from a high raise struck him. The paramedic was injured when he went to the assistance of a woman whose car was struck by falling ice from the Willis (Sears Tower) The paramedic was struck in the head when he was hit by more falling ice, suffering a deep laceration to the skull

As of yesterday the member is at home and is expected to make a complete recovery
