It was reported later in the day that the operator of the semi which hit and dragged the Trooper was arrested. The report did not give the exact criminal charges.

Multiple media reports indicate that Michael Bon, 33, of Brockton, was arraigned on several charges Thursday morning including involuntary manslaughter, homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle, and reckless driving, among other charges and is being held on $700,000 bail.
