Wood County Sheriff: Hard perimeter around Parkersburg warehouse fire

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office says in a Facebook post that a strict secure perimeter is now in place around the active fire scene to keep the public safe and give firefighters and hazmat crews room to work.

They had a small fire there around 1045 Saturday morning. Sprinklers held it and FD finished up extinguishment. They put a watch line in place. At approximately 0530 Sunday morning a rekindle supposedly occurred withe the sprinkler system shut down as a result of the previous days fire. Result 1million+ sq feet burned to the ground along with dozens of cargo trailers destroyed
