1931-1932 while their station was rebuiltWhen did 45 Engine relocate to 88 Engine
How long does it take to re-pour an apron? A day or 2? my guess is outside in a cage or just outside if it only look a dayJust noticed that Engine 5 must have been relocated during June 2019 while their apron was re-poured. Where did they go and for how long?
Good point. Setting up and taking down a cage could take as long. How long does it take to re-pour an apron? A day or 2? my guess is outside in a cage or just outside if it only look a day
It's not just pouring it. Gotta break up and remove the old apron, haul off the debris, prepare the resulting hole to include reinforcing, pour, then the fresh concrete has to cure for at least a week before you can put significant weight on it . . . adds up to at LEAST two weeks, and that's if the workers are in a rush (and what's the chance of that?).How long does it take to re-pour an apron? Thanks for the inside Ray never would of thought it was take that long.. Union job rushed? Never lolIt's not just pouring it. That's what I thought. Jersey barriers, wooden pedestrian ramps, chain link fencing, demolition, pouring, curing time - it adds up. Wonder where they (E5) went?T
