Seventy years ago today December 7 1941.......take some time to say a prayer in memory of those taken that day.....also take some time to tell a youngster about it...... CONTINUED REST IN PEACE TO ALL.....NEVER FORGET !

Last year my wife and I went to Pearl Harbor.  I had been wanting to go since I was a Freshman in HS.  I loved history and was reading  "Day of Infamy"

It was moving to be in such hallowed ground.    We dropped flower petals from the memorial, and the water took them over the sunken USS Arizona.  May they rest in peace.
 
Just as a side note, when the USS Arizona san there was a large amount of bunker fuel in her tanks. Over the years minute amounts of fuel make their way to the surface. Some people beleive it is the USS Arizona shedding tears for her fallen shipmates.
 
As the number of survivors lessens, may we all never forget what happened that day and keep the rememberance alive.
