Pink FD shirts

I got a bit of a story about a NJ FD not allowing members to wear pink cancer awareness shirts because they were not job r :elated. Any info??? :

I have seen several Chicago area departments wearing these shirts while doing hydrants, shopping etc. My first wife died of breast cancer, glad to see the guys on the job promoting awareness 8) 8)
