On Thurs 7-12-18 at 1100 hrs there will be a Plaque Dedication in Central Park for NYPD Detective Steven McDonald at the exact spot where he was shot 32 years ago ....Steven was one of the organizers of the FDNY Chaplain Father Mychal Judge (killed on 9-11) Annual Walks...... www.nycdetectives.org/events/plaque-dedication-for-det-steven-mcdonald/

I was advised by one of our members that today, January 10th, is the Third Anniversary of the passing of NYPD Detective Steven McDonald who was shot and became a paraplegic in 1986.

He was a Role Model to so many, including the newest members of the NYPD. His son also became a NYC Police Officer.

Continue Rest in Peace Detective McDonald. THANK YOU FOR YOUR DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CITIZENS AND VISITORS OF NYC
