Our brother Harold Brown who is a retired member of the FDNY needs our help. Harold is a man who dedicated his life to civil service. He started his career as a corrections officer and later transferred to the FDNY, a calling he did not take lightly. Those who worked with Harold, or had the pleasure of meeting him, knew that his aura was a once in a lifetime connection. He spent his entire FDNY career in L143 where he helped shape the lives of the future of this job as well as change the lives of everyone he met. Unlike most of us who finish our career in the FDNY, Harold decided to go change the lives of the Stamford Fire Department. This man who does everything for others never asked for anything in return. As a young Firefighter in L143 he lost his first wife to cancer and was tasked to raise his 3 children as a single dad, a job he did with the strength of God. Even through his recent battle he always responds that he feels FANTASTIC. I am here to tell you that he is far from fantastic. Harold is currently in Westchester Medical Center where he will remain until he receives a new heart, apparently the love and care that this man has given to the world and his family has worn out his current heart. We are on a mission to find this “GENTLE GIANT” a new heart. His Blood Type is O negative. We all know that making the decision to donate an organ of a recently deceased loved one is a very difficult choice, however if you know that it is going to someone who will make the world better, what a legacy to your loved one.
We need your help. ..UNQUOTE.
