Proby assignments

Out of proby school are there any companies probies are never assigned to?

2nd or 3rd Slowest in the city they won’t see much. You might be right tho. Maybe it’s just City Island, Rescues, Squads, Hazmat,

Add Marine CO’s to that list. Any other Company slow or busy can and will get Proby’s assigned

It also depends on the company roster of firefighters. I no for a fact the Engine CO. I buffed at had 3 guys transfered out, 1 guy retired a few months ago, 2 guys retiring within the next few months and another guy will be out within the next 8 months. That will be 7 guys less on the roster. The last few guys assigned to the house are already off probation. I can't remember the last time any guy transferred into the house. Its been probies only. Does anyone have the assignments. I won't be surprised if they get atleast 2 new kids when they get out of probie school... Also only once l saw a probie assigned to E 70 but after a week on the dept orders his assignment was changed from 70 to another Bronx unit

some proby's have been assigned to 329 in the past ......not a good thing though for a new FF.

Probies most definitely get assigned to 151/76, and other south shore SI companies
