According to today's  Chicago Sun'Times the city Inspector General plans to reduce the size of the department by 595 members. The plan is to reduce apparatus staffing to 4 members per rig saving 65 millions bucks. Be advised the IG has no power to cut the budget but he feels his role by law is to promote effective city government and the city's current level of spending-matched to the city's revenue- is unsustainable >:( >:( ::) ??? >:( >:(

So who do we vote for.  The dems that gives us what we want from an empty bank that's not going to be there in 20 years or the repubs that don't want to pay us, but at least there will be money in the bank....... ???

The 50 most useless people on the face of the earth, Chicago alderman stated that this idea was DOA. I guess when the people who vote you in/out you pay attention. In my opinion this is a dead issue. 5 per rig. :) :) :) ;)

OK guys here goes. This idea is DOA, will never see the light of day. If this happens go see your bookie and bet on the Cubs (1908) to win the World Series. ???
