FYI....a change in FDNY Communications Manual effective 1-8-12.......the former RED tag code 2 life threatening injury will now be classified as RED/ORANGE.

This has to do with ems adding the color orange to the triage system.
thought it was suppose to be simple

The old system was much easier: 1) dead, 2) alive but in a world of hurt 3) walking wounded.
