Gene was a FF in LAD*136 & in later yrs was the Chair of Community Board 7 in QNS where he fought many battles to protect the quality of life & to keep the fat cat developers in check....his Brother Jim was an FDNY FF & Fire Marshal.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eugene T. Kelty Jr. To honor his life, we invite you to a wake service on Wednesday March 19th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and Thursday March 20th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Martin A. Gleason Funeral Home (10-25 150th Street, Whitestone, NY 11357). A funeral service will follow on Friday, March 21st at St. Mel’s RC Church (26-15 154th Street, Flushing, NY 11354) at 10:45 am.
