Firefighter Scaramuzzino was a 9/11 firefighter who retired in 2006. He spent his retirement years giving back to the membership volunteering as a peer counselor in the FDNY Counseling Service Unit (CSU). He could be seen making the rounds mentoring young members and offering advice from his experiences in life and on the job. He made an impression on many. We thank him for his dedicated service to the members of the UFA and the department. He will never be forgotten.
