It is with deep regret the Department announces the death of retired Firefighter Frank A. Caputo, Engine Company 68 who succumbed to his WTC related illness on April 2, 2024. Firefighter Caputo served our great Department for 32 years. He also served our great nation as a member of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Theresa, his children Frank and Paul and his brother Charles, as well as extended family and friends.
