REST IN PEACE BROTHER.....PRAYERS FOR THE COMFORT OF THE FAMILIES
With regret, the Department announces the death of retired Firefighter Michael J. Cioffi, E-165, appointed February 5, 1995, retired June 13, 2020, which occurred on March 23, 2024. This member bravely served this Department protecting life and property in the City of New York in the rescue and recovery at Manhattan Box 5-5-8087 World Trade Center.
The heartfelt sympathy of the entire Department is extended to the family, relatives, and friends of the deceased in the midst of the great loss that they and the Department have sustained.
Funeral Service will take place from Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch, NJ, on Thursday, March 28, 2024, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1100 hours at St. Michael’s Church, 800 Ocean Ave N, Long Branch, NJ. All off-duty members and their families are invited to attend. Members are requested to attend in dress uniform.

1900 – 2100 hours
