Only a few days after the fire tragedy of Backnang a mother and her child were in highest danger of a fire in the roof of a framework MOB. Winnenden is in the same county like Backnang and only 12km in the far.
The responding VFD of Winnenden and Waiblingen brought the fire with 5 lines and 2 ladders quickly under control. The mother and her 2 year old child were brought to safe by a pedestrian who discover the fire from the street.
