April 3, 1962 six Norwich Firefighters responded to a truck fire. Four of them Never returned.

  Rest In Peace, Captain William Sheridan, Firefighters Carl Burke, Leonard Counihan, and Edward Ramono.

Something like this happened in Kansas City. Units rolled into a truck fire, the resulting explosion killed several KC FF's. I beleive it was earky 80's.
