Satellite engine company operations

Is the engine company assigned to a Satellite unit, for example E-9 for Satellite 1, dedicated to that unit only or can it also supply another unit, such as a T/L that is s/c?

They can supply whatever company the OIC deems the best use of resources. They are not dedicated to the unit they respond with.

More often than not they supply a TL or supply the Manifold they carry which is placed in proximity to the Fire bldg for stretching landlines from.....rarely do they use their Sat mounted Monitor......they also carry several containers of Foam on the Sat Rig.

Sat mounted monitor requires use of two engines.
