'this much fire in a
hospital type building?' As an 'Upstate' Long-Time Resident, Former Certified Nurse Aide & NYS EMT/
Ambulance Crew Chief + ER Tech, I will say w/Some Confidence that this place was probably 'Regulated' more Residential than
Medical / Long Term Care Facility, and apparently Not Very Well at That. A Very Large, Old, Wooden, Multi-Room, Multi-Level Structure...
Late-Night Fire, Dedicated, Brave but Delayed Response by a Commendable Volunteer FD - Fire got a Good Head Start in a Very Big & Old
Wood Building.
God Bless Those Lost and Those Who Suffer.
