St. Johnsbury has had a lot of bad fires on Railroad Street. It's a miracle that there's anything left of the business district. I live just a few miles away and know the town well. Last I'd heard, at least 15 people are homeless, and the original fire building is pretty much gone, with damage to two exposures.
