Pittsburgh has cancelled an order for three fire trucks that were ordered with no input from the city fire department.

I love it. It looks like "somebody" is not gonna get the kickback bribe they are entitled to. It's a classic maneuver, moving purchasing authority to the Mayor's Office. When "Downtown" Lee Brown (ex-NYPD Commissioner) was Mayor of Houston, one of his assistants went to prison for a similar stunt. Wonder where they learned that?
