The new(ish) firehouse certainly looks cramped, particularly for the TL, seems from the pics that the days of having long deep bays has gone, that TL looks like it only just fits in between the doorsand back wall!!

Just a question on E75, did they ever take part in the 'Lime green' experiment with thier ALF?

75 Engine's ALF was all red, if I remember correctly, 48 Engine's ALF was red with a white roof. The only lime green ALF that I'm aware of was 65 Engine's and I think that was a 1980.

Thanks there "r1smoke" for posting those pictures. I was hoping that somehow we'd get a picture of the rigs in the cage. First time I had ever seen fire trucks parked outside in a cage. Notice even the fencing on the top. What a hassell it must have been to make a run and first have to unlock the cage.
And thanks "Lionheart" for posting those pictures of the old 75/33 and B19 Qtrs.

I remember that tower ladder, we got it as a 'long term spare' after MT 8411 was damaged while we were operating at a box. The night that we switched to this spare, we caught a 2nd alarm in the taxpayer directly across the street from quarters a few minutes after we placed it into service.

After the new station opened and they went to a 75' rig because of the new fire house.
