Toronto has been hit by a severe Thunderstorm over the past 2 hours.
Multiple swift water rescues due to the the vast amount of rainfall.
Elevator rescues throughout the city.
Many companies unable to make it to the location of calls due to flooding.
Fire calls are now starting to come in.
Large parts of city without power.
Tfs units are running crazy.

@2100 hrs - 2nd alarm on arrival for an apartment fire. Location is on Weston Road in West Command.
I will try to get a rundown. Units from all over Toronto are begin assigned at this time.

no heavy squad on this fire as they(5 citywide) are tied up all over the city.
Crews are reporting heavy smoke on the 10th floor. Companies are requesting additional highrise packs to the fire floor and 2 floors below.

Hundreds of passengers trapped in flooded GO Train.
TFS units are taking life jackets from boats on the waterfront to effect rescue. This flooded train is well north of the waterfront.
As of 21:30hrs the military is being deployed with zodiac boats to help with rescue.
