Incident Location: 608 Winthrop Drive
In the early afternoon hours of Wednesday, April 17th, 2024, the Uniondale Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Winthrop Drive off Jerusalem Avene. Firefighters put two hand lines into operation for a fire on the second floor of a two-story private dwelling. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and there were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation and fire department units were under the command of Uniondale First Assistant Chief Kevin Hicks [7501]. (Text Credit K2M)
