I recently took a weekend trip to Chicago with a stop in Indianapolis on the way and took these photos of fire stations and apparatus. First the Indianapolis picures.

Indianapolis Station 13-located on the west side of Downtown and is first due to Mile Square, IUPUI, and Gainbridge Arena.
Indianapolis Squad 13-Squads in Indy are both light rescues and first due on EMS calls and are placed in busy areas.

Now the photos from Chicago Station 42 and their apparatus.

Chicago Station 42-located on Illinois St in the River North area. It was right around the corner from where I was staying and is home to Engine 42, Truck 3, Ambulance 42, Squad 1 & 1A, Paramedic Field Chief 4-5-1, Mobile Command Truck 2-7-1, and Bureau of Fire Prevention Central Area Office.
Engine 42 & Truck 3 both shown here on a fire alarm run on N. Clark St just around the corner from their quarters.
Squad 1 & 1A-both respond as a tandem. Shown here parked on Dearborn St around the corner from their quarters and then returning to quarters.
Ambulance 42 shown here on a run at House of Blues
Paramedic Field Chief 4-5-1 returning to quarters

Good shots from Chicago, glad to see you got them in their regular apparatus. Lots of companies running spares, some more than 20 years of age.
