WORKING FIRE: 3200 BLK PAGE AVENUE – CAPE HENRY TOWERS CONDOMINIUM - 2nd ALARM
On January 7, 2026, at 16:37:39, VBFD units were dispatched to a reported commercial multi-family structure fire in the 3200 block of Page Avenue. Upon arrival at Cape Henry Towers at 16:41:41, units observed heavy smoke coming from the top floor of the 16-story high-rise building.
The fire was located in and contained a single apartment on the 15th floor. Crews established a water supply and had water on the fire at 16:56:15. The fire was declared under control at 17:08:00 and marked out at 18:33:25.
One firefighter was transported to a local hospital. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist one displaced adult. The fire was determined to be accidental in nature and originated in the kitchen.
