Virginia Beach VA Working Fire 10/18/25

From VBFD:

WORKING FIRE: On 10/18/2025 at 13:17:47, VBFD units were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 5200 Blk. of Dundee Lane. When crews arrived at 13:21:53, heavy smoke was observed from the roof of the single-story structure. There were no injuries to civilians, firefighters, or pets. Two adults were displaced. Red Cross was contacted for assistance with temporary housing. The origin of the fire was the attic. The cause is under investigation.

Virginia Beach *working fire* 5209 Dundee Ln. E19 has smoke showing from a 2 story residence. Sending a working page.

E19 reporting no fire on floor 1, headed to floor 2 for fire attack.

E09 stretching a second line - E19 reporting the bulk of the fire is k/d but there’s possible extension to the attic.

IC (BAT05) sending E18 to the roof for vertical vent. Solar panels mounted on the C side.
E07 reporting a negative primary-floor 1.

L10 reporting heavy thru the roof. Interior companies attempting to hit it from the stairwell and considering backing out if they don’t make headway soon.

L10 setting up to flow into the roof.

ECH10 adding himself to the event.

Primary on floor 2 complete and negative. Interior companies still attempting to hit the attic.

Fire is now k/d from the interior and under control.
