Warm Springs, GA 09/01/26

Anderson County, SC Sheriff's received a BOLO saw the vehicle and pulled it over. Suspect committed suicide. Driver of car was detained. The dead suspect was arrested by the same officer 5 days ago for obstruction, possession of a firearm during an attempted robbery and possession of marijuana. Investigators are wondering if it was a set up. The dead suspect was driving the vehicle during the murder. Officer was sitting in his patrol car and the suspect drove up next to him. Don't know if he or the person who was detained fired the shots or if the other person was even with the suspect at time of murder.
