Crews from DC Fire and EMS battled a fire in a rowhouse that spread to adjoining houses.

Here's the dispatch and fireground audio from the incident. On the initial dispatch it's said that the fire was caused by a cigarette. At one point a firefighter asks the incident commander if he's aware of the materials in the basement and then requests a face-to-face with IC to discuss this.
