Does anyone know if U.S.A.R. teams from surround areas been deployed to assist West Reading? I believe that Philadelphia is about 60 miles from West Reading I have had the honor of meeting some members of Philadelphia's Rescue Co. 1 and I know many of them, are part of the PA. U.S.A.R. team. The procedures for Collapse Search and Rescue were first refined by the London Fire Brigade during the WW II Blitz, when the L.F.B. had to preform collapse search and rescue during and after every Blitz attack. "Talk about Bravery" Captain Bob Rainey FDNY Engine 26 retired.

I doubt a USAR team as such was deployed due to many reasons, however I wouldn't be surprised if elements of the Philadelphia team responded.
