I think there was an unstaffed reserve engine in TL18's quarters through the 90's if that was your question.

One of the 500 series. They tend to move around for 1 reson or another. I'll see if I can find it.

Eta as of 2025 they may not have 1 anymore. When I looked at FDNYtrucks.com which is usually a pretty good indicator where the reserve engines are at least, there's no pictures of 1 there. Though Reserve Eng 500 is pictured infront of there qtrs in a 1985 Mack under special units.
