North Stonington FD was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Murphy Road at Wyassup Road. First arriving units found a heavily involved dwelling and declared a working fire. Pawcatuck FD responded as a FAST team. Additional engines responded from Old Mystic FD, Mashantucket Pequot FD, Ashaway (RI) FD along with two tankers from Wequetequock FD and one tanker from Ledyard FD. North Stonington Ambulance and a paramedic from L&M Hospital also responded. Operations were hampered by downed live power lines and a partial collapse of the building.
