E67…Are you saying the Squad 8 second piece is not in service?
Sucks. Puts more wear and tear on 44E67…
Are you saying they're all trained and have the second piece ready and aren't put in service as an HMTU yet due to budget? I presume due to the 12% (or whatever it is) SOC pay?E67…
Yup. No money. They are all trained 2nd piece is in quarters awaiting the money to pay themAre you saying they're all trained and have the second piece ready and aren't put in service as an HMTU yet due to budget? I presume due to the 12% (or whatever it is) SOC pay?
Oh thanks for clarifying, I was not aware there was a new one waiting to go.E67…
The only real difference between a 2000 gpm pump and a 1000 is the number of intakes/discharges and the size of the intakes, along with the size/number of impellers. Everything else is still the same. Same size pump panel, pump compartment etc.Does anybody know why they stick to 1000gpm pumps for the squads? Most of the rest of FDNY engines are now 2000gpm. Is there a space difference in a 1000gpm vs. 2000gpm pump that would allow the squad to have more compartment space?
So in a billion dollar budget, they can’t find $400-500k to get that second piece in serviceYup. No money. They are all trained 2nd piece is in quarters awaiting the money to pay them
Talking about E67 a new Hazmat Tech UnitWhen did the whole second piece stop responding? Last I saw in videos the second piece was shown
Agreed. An account like FDNY brings quite a bit of leverage to the table. Bosses at Seagrave will move Apparatus out of the way to push these along the line.Well the FDNY is a BIG contract that seagrave wont want to loose, so 2 years is pretty accurate when it comes to the FDNY
Yes but now other cities and towns will face an additional delay for their apparatus. Just saying.Agreed. An account like FDNY brings quite a bit of leverage to the table. Bosses at Seagrave will move Apparatus out of the way to push these along the line.
How many units? A local Seagrave dealership just posted a photo of what looks like a squad being completed?Squad contract awarded to Seagrave $ 11.5 million. Only bidder.
