That chauffeur needed to hook up to the gate as well to show the one 3 1/2” wasn’t enough. Had a lot going on though.
 
Seeing an increasing number of hydrant parkers in the Greater Flushing area, with the many asians moving into the area,
The problem is also blocking the hydrant from view to companies unfamiliar with the area (relocators etc.) who could drive right past a serviceable hydrant because it remains unseen. This will continue as long as a greater public awareness isn't created. Whenever there's a death involved, the IC should call for a NYPD tow truck to impound the car, and a Marchal and PD Det. should have the owner arrested.
