    New Seagraves

E88 historically hasn't had a grill number, I imagine they requested to keep with tradition. Also I see that E40 has a white grill number.

    Tower Ladder 35

Certainly a trade off, maneuverability versus tactical ability. That said getting to a job faster could reduce the need for defensive operations. But, realistically I doubt there will be any change in the future.

    Tower Ladder 35

I agree, the TDAs have been making a national come back with many cities i.e. Philadelphia, Baltimore and DC primarily using them. Of course the cost and size requirements in fire houses would be the main drawbacks.

    New Seagraves

It appears from an observer's stand point that the bottom one is scene lighting, the middle one is the actual emergency lighting and then the top looks to be a Opticom, but I'm not really into lights so I could be off the mark.

So my station currently has two of these buses, a E series and a F series both were spares until these week when one was pressed into service due to a mechanical issue with one of our front line buses. You are correct they don't have MDTs so the unit is also issued a cell phone with a MDT app on...

    GLORY DAYS

I love reading such amazing descriptions of the job, I'm happy to report that whilst I was doing EMS in the 7th Battalion no companies treated us better than E24/ L5.
