Belgian FF fatality on FDNY Marine Unit

My guess is if this was NOT sanctioned or approved by the higher ups, someone is going to get seriously jammed up over this incident.

    New NYPD Commissioner

Under Dermott Shea's watch, crime escalated. And he came from "within" the NYPD and personally I thought he was extremely qualified. However, I would consider his tenure as Police Commissioner a failure as crime continued to escalate while he ran the department. Unfortunately, he was a puppet...

    Temporary Relocations

If they had room another option would be S288 / HazMat 1 since they are right down the line off Grand Ave. Easy ride into their first due response area.

    MORE WAR YEARS TRIVIA

Way back when, for many years, E52 operated with two "pieces" (1951 Ward LaFrances).  The second piece was NOT considered a "second section." It was primarily used as a hose wagon for runs in Van Cortland Park when a long stretch and or a relay operation was required.

    MORE WAR YEARS TRIVIA

I'm fairly certain at the time the firehouse for E72 was built, consideration was given to establish a truck (L57) as well.  That never came into fruition.
