When I was LCC with L 5 we got a RM when our tiller went out of service. It was comical seeing some of the other LCC's who were unfamiliar with the extra length and trying to make a tight turn, often wedging themselves in the intersection.

Worked with Jim when he was aide in D 1. Jim was a member of the famous L 5 Hot Dog Club.

Ladder 112 was supposed to go with E 222.

Engine 41 was disbanded 1989, "Enhanced Engine 41" was re-organized in 1990, under completely different circumstances and community pressure prior to the other companies that were less busy and eventually became Squad Co's in 1998.

Love ya Cap, but you're not making sense, RE: not be delayed but wait for a PD tow truck. Every ECC must know the 3 ways to hook up to an obstructed highway. Smashing windows is not one...suppose glass gets in his eye, then what?...The FDNY is the worlds best trained fire dept through practice...

The FDNY has 3 ways to circumvent a hydrant obstruction, the method shown in the video is not one of them.
