How could two companies acting Ladder 19 be assigned at the same time?
The building where the aerial is placed doesn't look like it's 5 stories.
The battalion reported heavy smoke from the roof of a 3 story.
Was the CIDS for a different building?
I had a lieutenant who loved to give hydrant summonses. You get good at it if you do it enough. He said we should learn to do it quickly so if the owner shows up you're not standing there for any amount of time.
Decades later I still remember section 81B - code 40, though I don't know if that's...
One thing I'd like to see in one of these videos is a company issuing a summons to one of the vehicles blocking a hydrant or a summons on the windshield.
This is bad reporting.
"New Haven Fire Department appoints 'highest-ranking' female chief officer in 'over 160 years'"
So, we are to assume there was a high-ranking woman who was a chief 160 years ago?
I would like that, but I don't see how that could be justified when a civilian is seriously injured and qualified personnel are on the scene but withhold assistance because they're there for firefighters only.
From the video description:
"FDNY OPERATING AT A VERY QUICKLY 10-75 ALL HANDS FIRE IN A MULTIPLE DWELLING..."
What is a very quickly 10-75? A fast response time?
