    Fire Department Provided Ambulance Service

    Work in central Mass, small job, 4 groups of 5, minimum of 4. We staff 2 ALS ambulances, it’s a rotation, ambulance, engine, ambulance, engine and on and on. If we transport to Worcester, about 25 mins away we back attempt to backfill to 4. We don’t have a dedicated engine company.

    Yes, all 33 engines are E-Ones, with 6 more of that spec coming soon all will almost identical. With ladder 16’s above E-One entering service all 20 aerials will be the exact same, with 2 twin E-One Towers. Twin E-One Rescues as well.

    Just saw a video of Rescue 1, on Instagram by “ffnj1” the truck appears to be in a shop, it’s on the drivers side but as they get to the rear of the truck it looks to have chevrons.

    I’m surprised the city hasn’t told them to rebuild it or something along those lines, the rescue is a 2019 correct? 3 years later and it’s still not in service. I understand how complex a rescue is, but think of all the 2020 & 2021 engines and towers already in service.
